We have a joke in our house about the worst meal we ever made.

It started the way many of your meals may have started. Kids eating first, parents eating second. The kids got started and the looks (and sounds) were NOT good.

Of course, this annoyed us to no end. We’ve worked very hard on preparing, not to mention purchasing this meal. What was it? Cod. We nearly yelled at the kids that they were being over-dramatic and needed to calm down and eat their dinner.

Then we got started on our own plate of cod. Our looks and sounds started. It was bad. We messed this up like nothing before or since. Cod is a bad word in our house now! It’s the go-to joke whenever we talk about foods we don’t like.

UNTIL NOW!

Turns out we didn’t have a clue what we were doing. But Cod is absolutely delicious and should be part of your healthy 2024 foods. One of our most popular recipes on the entire website is How to Cook Cod. I strongly encourage you to follow in our footsteps and not let your “worst meal ever” prevent you from ever trying that food again.

Reviews

I haven’t purchased a microwave in years. The one in my kitchen has been there since long before we moved into our home.

But there are so many reasons to be ready for a microwave purchase beyond your home kitchen. As my daughter prepares to graduate high school, she could use one in her dorm room or apartment. There are tons of opportunities for a microwave in your camper or tiny home. Perhaps you own an Airbnb and need a quick way for your guests to make a bag of popcorn or a quick meal between activities.

Check out our microwave reviews and find the right one for you, your family or your guests!

Responsibility

The reasons to eat whole food seem so completely obvious, yet it’s very difficult to put into practice. It takes planning to find the right type of foods that you will enjoy and give you those many benefits. Need a reminder of those benefits?

  1. Help your body thrive!

  2. Improved digestive health

  3. Stable sugar levels

  4. Heart health

Check out our article on the benefits of eating whole foods to find out more than just those that might seem obvious!

Foodness Fun - Poll

I remember eating freezer waffles as a kid that tended to taste a little more like cardboard than an actual waffle. Being able to put syrup into each little square was one of the highlights of my day.

Then pancakes entered my life. Butter wasn’t my choice for topping. It was always peanut butter. It spread so easily and every bite was perfection with the soft pancake, rich peanut butter and sweet syrup.

So…..which is better? Waffles or pancakes? You tell me, Foodness Followers!

Which do you prefer?
