Foodness Gracious - Week 20

Foodness Gracious

Recipes

I absolutely love seafood in the spring and summer. Somehow seafood just tastes like warm weather and also helps me hit my fitness goals.

This Shrimp Tacos Mexicanos recipe will resemble all those street taco vendors or local taco restaurants. I guarantee one just won’t be enough.

The warm tortilla, crunchy slaw, spicy shrimp and cool homemade crema are an amazing mixture of flavors. Pair this with your favorite chips and salsa (and maybe even a beer or margarita) and you have a perfect date night at home.

The prep and cooking is so easy with just a bowl and a skillet to get the job done.

Remember to look for clever ingredient swaps and FAQs on more and more recipes every week!

Responsibility

Have you ever wondered if there’s a difference between buying fresh food, frozen food or canned food? Does the nutrition change when food goes from fresh to frozen?

Foodness Fun - Poll Results - Waffles vs Pancakes

Holy cow the people have spoken on the war between waffles vs pancakes. The results were overwhelming!

With 70% of the vote, the winner is easily PANCAKES! This was a landslide from the very start. The people have spoken!

Holes in waffles drive me nuts. I prefer the beautiful golden brown flat surface of a pancake to spread my Jif peanut butter on which is then topped with a gentle river of peach syrup. Heaven on a plate.
