There are so many people that have hesitated to try meat alternatives by companies like Gardein, Impossible or Beyond Meat. I was one of those people for the longest time!
Why did I take so long to try them? Well, to be honest, it just seemed weird. That’s the reason. It seemed weird and I was afraid it would be gross.
Keep in mind, I make no money by talking about these products. I just feel these are products that every home chef should add to their arsenal.
Believe me when I say many of these products are delicious and you literally cannot tell the difference between these plant-based meats and the real meats.
Today, I want to highlight our Meatless Meatballs in a Cheesy Tomato Sauce. This recipe suggests using a Gardein product, but there are many meatless alternatives. The recipe does call for a food processor, so check out our favorite in case you don’t have one already.
All I ask is that you challenge yourself to step outside the norm and trick your own taste buds and those of your family. See how they react when they find out the meatballs are plant-based. It could change your own cooking, and make a positive change on the environment too.

Your kids want to bake something. They finally choose a delicious dessert and they ask you to grab the ¼ cup measuring cup. Foodness Fun - Poll Results
I have been writing newsletters for over a year now and last week’s poll brought the most surprising results in the past year.
My expectation was the sweetness of milk chocolate would clearly win the chocolate battle. I couldn’t have been more wrong!
In a landslide victory, dark chocolate won the contest with 70% of the vote!
I usually swap out milk chocolate and put dark chocolate. It’s so much richer.
