As you know, cake and cupcakes can go hand-in-hand. You can liven up a cake you’ve made hundreds of times by turning it into cupcakes with some fun paper cups or reusable silicone cups.

This is actually quite easy as the temperature from the cake recipe is typically the same for cupcakes. All you have to do is adjust the baking time. For example, with the Pistachio Cake above, you need to adjust down the baking time by approximately 10%. The current bake time in the 9” pan is 45 minutes, so just drop the time by about 4-5 minutes and make sure to check with a toothpick for your cupcakes!
