Foodness Gracious - Week 53
Recipes
I have promoted several of our recipes recently that will allow you to make a splash hit at your upcoming Thanksgiving festivities.
However, there is one that might actually create a riot if it is not front and center at every single holiday gathering. You guessed it…that’s the Classic Pumpkin Pie!
Sure, you could go to your local Costco and pick one up for $5, but where’s the fun in that? Where’s the tradition in that?
This is a beautifully delicious pumpkin pie that blends the rich and creamy texture with the flaky crust that will show all of your family members that they are worth a homemade version.
Of course, you could always pick up the $5 Costco version for them and leave the homemade one for yourself after they leave your house! I won’t tell a soul.
Remember to look for clever ingredient swaps and FAQs on more and more recipes every week!

Reviews
My neighbor just purchased his first ever Blackstone. If you aren’t sure what in the world a Blackstone is, you’re not alone!
A Blackstone is an outdoor cooker with an amazing griddle top. He showed me this new outdoor cooking surface in action and I was shocked at the versatility, the griddle, the ability to make everything from pancakes to smashburgers. It’s truly incredible!
If you are ready to splurge on that special someone for the holidays, strongly consider a Blackstone. It’s not just for them either…it’s for you and all those amazing invites you will receive where they cook some delicious food for you and your family!

Foodness Fun - Poll
In the United States, Thanksgiving often means turkey. Turkey often means classic sides like mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie.
But there is one Thanksgiving debate that remains unsettled.
There is a side that goes hand-in-hand with Thanksgiving that is made from cubed bread, vegetables, broth and various seasonings. Yes, I’m talking about stuffing. Or is it dressing?
You decide, Foodness Followers!
Is it Thanksgiving Stuffing or Thanksgiving Dressing? |
