Recipes

One of our most-visited recipes at Foodness Gracious is the Air Fryer Cookie for One. It is not only one of our most popular recipes...it is also one of our most hotly debated recipes as well.

Several Foodness Followers have commented in the past that this recipe turned out to be raw in the middle. Our experience matched that of many of our other Foodness Followers who ended up with a fantastic cookie that was just the right size and texture for a quick and delicious snack.

Air fryers really make cooking incredibly easy as these small kitchen counter appliances really are incredibly versatile.

Because so many different companies have created their own version of the air fryer, not all are created equal in options and power. This is one primary reason that has led to some cookies turning out raw and others turning out perfectly cooked.

After much debate, we have updated this recipe and tested it (more than once at our house I'm happy to say) and it should be something that works for many different air fryers. We encourage you all to give it a try and tell us what you think on the recipe comments!

Remember to look for clever ingredient swaps and FAQs on more and more recipes every week!

Reviews

We bought our first air fryer in 2024 and cannot believe how often it gets used. Sometimes the kids (especially our 12 year old) can be intimidated by the oven, and the air fryer is such a small appliance it is actually inviting!

There are so many air fryer options it can be hard to decide which is best for you and your family. Do you go with the basket or the multi-level? Do you have enough power for the type of foods you love the most? Does it need to have air fry, bake, thaw and several other bells and whistles?

Check out our air fryer reviews to see the options for budget, premium and responsible. With this information at your finger tips, you can make a well-informed decision and find that this new and inviting small kitchen appliance can help transform your home chef abilities.
