Poll Results - Baking…Sweet or Savory?
Last week’s poll asked our followers if they think sweet or savory when they think about baking. I am a massive sweet tooth, so there was only one clear answer to me…but not to our Foodness Followers.
A total of 58% of our followers think sweet when they think about baking, and a whopping 42% think savory. However, comments came pouring in from the sweet crowd.

I think of the combinations of Christmas spices like cinnamon and nutmeg mixed with molasses. Even in July I’d be up for whipping up an iced gingerbread or molasses spiced cookie.
Baking is sweets. Will I bake cookies? Yes! Will I bake a steak? No!
What is the best chip for game day?
The Super Bowl is almost upon us, and my family had a debate about the best chip for watching a football game. Any time there is a food debate in my house I have to bring it to the Foodness Followers to see what everyone thinks.
I am excited to introduce the quarterfinal bracket for Best Game Day Chip! My children helped create the bracket. If you don’t love the options, let’s blame the kiddos!
There are four polls for you to answer below. We can’t wait to see the results and bring you the semi-final bracket next week!

Recipes
It feels a little strange highlighting a recipe this week with a chip brand that isn’t in our Game Day Chip Bracket, but it is still an absolute keeper for any game day party.
I present to you Game Day Frito Chili Cheese Dip! Multiple types of cheese, ground beef, spices and all done in a cast iron pan. Sure, you can use a crock pot if you want, but there’s just something so cool about serving it in the cast iron.
Remember to look for clever ingredient swaps and FAQs on more and more recipes every week!
Reviews
No game day is complete without all the snacks. Those snacks have to be served on something. Could you use paper plates? Technically, yes. But who wants to do that when we want to be responsible home chefs?
Check out our latest serving platter reviews. As always, we highlight the pros and cons of each and provide you with choices ranging from budget to premium to responsible.
